The project was to redevelop the existing pavilion, which was over 50 years old and no longer fit for purpose. The new building has modern, fully accessible changing facilities to cater to the increased demand for women’s, girls’, and disability cricket.

The project’s completion successfully transformed the pavilion into a dynamic community hub that serves many local residents. As part of this, the redevelopment also includes a new accessible community meeting space for local residents and groups and a volunteer-run coffee shop, bar, and kitchen that can be used by the community outside of designated cricket activities.

The project received funding for the £1M+ development from local Boards and Foundations, as well the clubs own fundraising efforts.
