A collection of 87 three, four and five-bedroom homes set in the High Weald, on Goddard’s Green Road between the villages of Benenden and Biddenden. At its centre sits The Crescent Collection — a stunning crescent of twelve four-bedroom townhouses arranged to take in the open countryside beyond.

The site sits within one of Kent’s most sensitive landscapes, and the elevational treatment reflects that. Tile-hung and weatherboarded finishes, steep roof pitches and traditional detailing draw directly on the Wealden vernacular, giving a development that reads as part of the village rather than an addition to it.

Every home is heated by an air source heat pump, serving underfloor heating at ground floor and radiators above, with a fabric-first approach to the building envelope. All homes on the development carry a predicted EPC rating of B.

Careful early attention to insulation continuity, airtightness and ventilation strategy was needed to reconcile that performance with the traditional external palette.

Two designated local wildlife sites are retained within the scheme, alongside an attenuation pond and two play areas, so drainage, levels and boundary treatments were coordinated with the ecological constraints from the outset.

Our appointment covers plan assessment and site inspection through to completion certification, working alongside Esquire’s technical team and Esquire Construction Ltd as principal contractor. Phased delivery runs through to 2028, and our inspection regime is structured around that programme so that each phase is signed off as it completes.
