In August 2022, Elite acquired the Tait Road warehouse premises and has since then been fitting them out with RIBA Chartered Architect and Passivhaus consultant Alida Calistru with the aim to produce a centre of excellence.

The new premises is successfully the UK’s first showroom entirely powered by renewables, demonstrating how zero-carbon can be achieved even with the restraints of old building fabric.

Tait Road will be a fully functioning office whilst still acting as a live showroom of every technology in action and the plant room which controls all this technology has been given a glass wall, making it part of the show.

This is a true reflection of the culmination of 20 years of experience with heat pumps. Following the EPC Assessment, everyone involved is proud to announce that the building achieved A rating, from a previous D rating.

It was fantastic to be involved with such a leading and innovative project which will act as a pioneer for many buildings to come.
