Working closely with UK architects RCKa and the Italian Foreign Ministry, we worked hard to ensure that the design and executed works conformed not only to the Italians own standards but those that apply here in the UK.

The challenging project involved a comprehensive redevelopment of the existing building, including major structural enhancements, the insertion of a new lift and reconfiguration of the existing stairs, as well as the installation of new office, archive and consular space throughout the building.

The building was completed and officially opened on 17th July 2013 by the Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta.
